Service and responsibilities

The app helps authorized Shopify merchants test selected product-option combinations, capture readable configuration and review changes. You must have authority to access the connected store and any data you provide. Use synthetic values in test scenarios and keep credentials private. We never ask for your Shopify password.

Coverage

Checks cover explicitly configured scenarios on supported Liquid storefronts. They do not guarantee every order, market, app, theme or option combination. Private vendor data, headless storefronts, complete migration and checkout are outside coverage. Theme scans flag possible code matches for a developer to review. Restore replaces only OptionGuard’s saved scenarios. Review exports before applying any external change. Tests may affect storefront analytics or abandoned-cart counts.

Plans and cancellation

The free audit supports five watched products and up to two scenarios per product, with manual checks. Watch costs $19 USD every 30 days through Shopify, supports 25 watched products and adds checks triggered by watched product and theme changes. Charges require Shopify confirmation. You can cancel Watch in Settings or uninstall the app. On downgrade, records remain available but new runs require the current plan limits. Shopify controls taxes, billing timing and applicable refund processes. Contact us about billing errors; statutory rights remain intact.

Availability and liability

The service is supplied with reasonable care, without an uptime or error-detection guarantee. Shopify availability, permissions and webhook delivery can affect checks. Maintain your own backups and validate changes before launch. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect or consequential loss and limit aggregate liability to app fees paid during the preceding 12 months. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination and data

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend abusive or unauthorized use. Export needed records before uninstalling. Deletion and data rights are described in the privacy policy. Your store content remains yours; the app and its software remain our intellectual property.

Changes and disputes

We will communicate material plan or service changes before they take effect where required. Mandatory consumer and merchant rights under applicable law remain unaffected. Contact support first to resolve a dispute.
